Necro porn is exactly what it sounds like. In it, as in ho hum porn, actors have sex. The difference is one of them plays dead. It's certainly not for everyone. And it's also not snuff, that quasi-mystical type of porn in which men "actually" murder women for viewers' sexual jollies.
Necro porn is pornography that depicts sexual acts with people who appear to be dead. Necro porn may take the form of pornographic videos or images. Enacted murder and rape are common elements of necro porn. As with most pornography, there are different sub-genres to appeal to different tastes. Fetish websites that house necro porn often allow users to sort the clips by kill type, such as strangulation or shooting. While necro porn features actors pretending to kill others, it should not be confused with snuff films, where men are filmed actually killing women for sexual gratification. Even though necro porn is considered a fairly extreme form of pornography, consuming it can be a healthy way to satisfy a death fetish or necrophilia.
In series 1 of BBC's Luther, DCI John Luther Idris Elba returned from a 7-month suspension, befriended Alice Morgan Ruth Wilson , a sociopath who murdered her parents, was framed for the murder of his ex-wife, subsequently fled from the authorities and stood by helpless as his colleague, DS Justin Ripley Warren Brown , was knocked down to grunt police work for aiding and abetting him. Is it any wonder that season 2 opens with a Luther playing a solitary game of Russian roulette? Seeing as we have a Luther series 2, it's obvious that Luther's attempt at suicide is a failure; good thing too, because his name has been cleared for the murder of his ex-wife and he's recruited by DCI Superintendent Martin Schenk Dermot Crowley for the new Serious and Serial Crime Unit. Though Luther's reputation as an officer prone to bending and breaking the rules proceeds him, his reputation for having a brilliant analytical mind is the reason he's called back into active duty. A murderer donning a Punch mask is leaving cryptic messages on the voicemails of all his victim's family and friends.
TV review: Luther seems to rely heavily on the star power of Idris Elba but the new series started with neither Elba or the storyline up to scratch. Luther BBC1 makes being a detective look easy. On the hunt for a serial killer with a penchant for fright masks and a habit of lurking at the scene of his crimes, Luther spots an edgy-looking bloke in the crowd.
