Arse Full of Farts is a quote derived from James Joyce's dirty love letters. Any thread with Joyce as a topic, much like Plath and " Head in Oven " will inevitably include a mention. The infamous letters, which contained the fart part and other scandalous disclosures, were found in an armoire in an Italian apartment formerly rented by Nora Joyce while her husband was abroad doing various idiotic stuff. Both were long dead by the time the letters were found. Their first digitization and the subsequent spread of the scandal outside of close-knit Joycean academic circles, probably occurred sometime during the Newgroup or Mailing List eras.
Quote by James Joyce: “My sweet little whorish Nora I did as you told ”
